Hyundai Creta slipped to 6th place with 12,463 units sold last month. It became the best-selling SUV for April 2021.

Hyundai has once again increased the price of its top-selling SUV Creta. You have to pay an additional amount of Rs 19,600 for diesel variants and up to Rs 13,600 for petrol variants of Hyundai Creta.

The company launched Creta’s second-generation model in the market last year in March, few days before entering into a nationwide lockdown due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Hyundai offers the Creta SUV in five different variants which include E, EX, S, SX and SX (O).

Keeping base variant of its petrol engine unchanged, now the new Hyundai Creta is available at a price range of Rs 9,99,990 to Rs 17,67,400 for its petrol variants. While the base level diesel engine variant has been priced at Rs 10,51,000 and the top variant goes up to Rs 17,62,400. All these prices are according to the ex-showroom Delhi.

The Hyundai Creta is a mid-size SUV car powered by 1.5-litre naturally-aspirated petrol and a 1.4-litre turbo petrol engine. It also comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine option. The diesel engine is 1493 cc while the Petrol engine is 1497 cc and 1353 cc. Depending upon the variant and fuel type the Creta has a mileage of 16.8 to 21.4 kmpl. The 5 seater Creta measures 4,300 mm in length with a width of 1790 mm and a wheelbase of 2,610 mm. The SUV offers both manual and automatic transmission option.

The company has given features like LED projector headlamps, day time running lights with cascading grille, LED tail lamps, 17-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch instrument panel with digital display, 8-speaker Bose sound system, ambient lighting and panoramic sunroof in its next-generation model.

The leading South Korean automaker, recently announced the launch of its new 7-seater SUV Alcazar in the Indian market. But before this SUV comes to market, the company increased the price of its existing SUV Creta. Earlier, the company had raised its price in Jan 2021, and before this Creta had become costlier in October 2020.
