Karnataka Bank is aiming at revolutionising its banking services to an innovative and digital one to become ‘digital bank of future’. On Thursday, the CEO and managing director of the bank M S Mahabaleshwara said that the bank is all set to emerge ‘digital bank of future’ with end-to-end digital solutions for all its banking activities.

Mahabaleshwara addressed the bank’s 97th annual general meeting through video conferencing. In the meeting, he stated the bank’s mission to be ready for the second phase under ‘KBL NxT’ concept which is driven by wholistic IT transformation ‘KBL Vikaas. The bank aims to have end-to-end digital solutions for all banking activities.

During 2023-24, the bank will be celebrating its centenary year. “To lay a strong foundation for the second century of the bank, it has planned lot of IT-driven innovative and far-reaching initiatives to mark the celebration, he said. 18% of the dividend has been declared by the bank at the meeting.

The 97th AGM was presided over by bank chairman P Jayarama Bhat. All the directors of the bank, executives and shareholders participated through the virtual forum, according to the company’s statement.
