Centre has so far provided 25.87 crore Covid-19 vaccines to states: Health Ministry
The Centre has so far provided more than 25 crore 87 lakh vaccine doses to the States and Union Territories, Union Health Ministry said.
The vaccines have been provided both through the Centre’s free of cost channel and through the direct state procurement category.
The Union Health Ministry has informed that so far over 24 crore 76 lakh doses of the vaccines have been consumed including wastages.
It added that more than 1 crore 12 lakh Covid vaccine doses are still available with the States and Union Territories to be administered. The Ministry said more than 10 lakh 81 thousand vaccine doses are in the pipeline and will be received by the States & Union Territories within the next 3 days.
