Petrol prices have already crossed the Rs 100-mark in more than 20 states and union territories

Petrol prices increased by 19 to 21 paise, while diesel prices were hiked for the third consecutive day by 26 to 30 paise across the country on September 28, according to a price notification by state-run oil companies. Petrol price in Delhi was hiked by 20 paise at Rs 101.39 per litre, while diesel was increased by 25 paise at Rs 89.57 per litre. In Mumbai, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 107.47 and diesel Rs 97.21. Currently, fuel prices are highest in Mumbai among all metro cities. In Kolkata, a litre of petrol and diesel prices will cost Rs 101.87 and Rs 92.67, respectively.

Petrol prices in Chennai will cost Rs 99.15, while diesel prices will cost Rs 94.17. In Bengaluru, a litre of petrol will cost Rs 104.92 and diesel Rs 95.06. In Hyderabad, a litre of petrol and diesel will cost Rs 105.48 and Rs 97.74, respectively.

In Vijayawada, petrol price costs Rs 107.29, while diesel price is being retailed at Rs 99.04 respectively. Currently, Vijayawada has the highest fuel prices among all south Indian cities. Petrol and diesel prices in Visakhapatnam were being retailed at Rs 106.43  and Rs 98.20, respectively.

Petrol prices have already crossed the Rs 100-mark in more than 20 states and union territories – Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Manipur, Ladakh, Bihar, Punjab and others. Petrol and diesel prices get revised in India every day at 6 am.
