Billionaire, Mukesh Ambani’s Reliance Industries Limited’s OTT app JioCinema, has reduced prices of two of its subscription plans. In case of the first one, in which, the viewer can watch contents at only one device at a time, the price of the one of its plan will now start from just Rs 29 per month. This translates to less than ₹1 on per day basis. Even more remarkable thing is that it is a premium plan. Yes, you read it correctly, the premium content on JioCinema app is available at less than ₹1 on daily basis. On yearly basis, the cost of this plan translates to Rs 348. The viewer can watch contents on only one device at a time,

While, in case of the second plan, which is actually a family plan, the content can be played on four devices, simultaneously. The second plan’s price has been reduced to Rs 89 per month from Rs 99, earlier. On yearly basis, the viewer will have to shell out Rs 1,068 to get access to the premium contents under this plan.

Both these plans are premium. Anyways, currently, there are only two subscription plans available on the OTT streaming service. All premium contents are hidden only behind these two plans on the JioCinema app. Rest of all the contents are available for free.

Other features of the two premium subscription plans subsume ad-free content, 4K resolution quality and downloads.

Currently, the two subscription schemes of the OTT platform are being offered at the prices specified above under special offer. JioCinema claims that factoring in the reduced prices, the first plan is available at 51 per cent discount, while, the second one is available at 40 per cent markdown.

Viewers having promo codes can get more discount over and above prices mentioned above.
