At the same time, milk has become costlier by about Rs 10 per liter in the last one year itself. On the other hand, if we look at a decade, the price of milk has increased more than two times. In the last few days, milk companies like Amul, Mother Dairy, Sudha Dairy and Sanchi Dairy have increased the prices of milk.

Reason for price rise
Milk prices are likely to increase again. In fact, the prices of fodder are at a record level amid monsoon and floods. The Corona epidemic has also affected the production, which is still visible. The possibility of damage to crops has increased due to monsoon and weather.

In such a situation, animal fodder may become more expensive in the coming times. The prices of de-oiled rice bran (DORB), used in cattle, poultry and fish feed, have risen sharply from Rs 15,000 per tonne to Rs 18,000-18,500 per tonne in the last few weeks. At the same time, maize, the main fodder grain, is also being sold around Rs 24,500 per tonne. Apart from this, the prices of millet have also increased.

For the last few days, the price of green vegetables has also increased a lot. Tomatoes were being sold at Rs 250 per kg in many cities of the country. The price of chillies also increased to Rs 200 per kg. Apart from this, among spices, the prices of cumin and garam masala also saw a big increase.
