Tips to save IPO listing gains tax!

In the years 2023 and 2024, many IPOs brought huge earnings for the investors. But tax also has to be paid on this! What is the tax rule on booking listing gains from IPO? How can tax liability on listing gains be reduced? How will the tax be calculated on selling IPO shares?

There is some good news for government job aspirants in Bihar. The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released a recruitment notification for the post of Assistant Director cum District Public Relations Officer.

Online applications are invited on the official website of BPSC from June 11. Eligible candidates can apply on or before July 5. According to the notification, a total of 31 posts will be recruited for this post. 

The application process for these posts (District Public Relation Officer) was started on February 16, 2021. BPSC re-opened the application window for District PRO Recruitment due to re-fixation of the dates of minimum and maximum age limit for the posts advertised by the Information and Public Relations Department of the Government of Bihar in compliance with the orders of the Patna High Court. 

This time the last date of application has been fixed as of July 5. However, the date of examination hasn’t been fixed yet.

Eligibility

As per the latest notification, only those candidates are eligible to apply for these posts, who have obtained graduation or equivalent degree from a recognized university or other higher education institution and have a degree in journalism or mass communication.

Along with this, the age of the candidates should be between 21 years to 37 years. As per the BPSC’s June 9 notice, the minimum age limit will be calculated from August 1, 2020, and the maximum age limit will be calculated from August 1, 2017.

Vacancy details

According to the notification issued by BPSC, a total of 31 vacancies are up for grabs. From this (BPSC DPRO Recruitment 2021) 10 seats are for the general category, 3 seats for the economically weaker ie EWS category, 3 seats for the OBC category, 1 seat for the OBC female, 7 seats for EBC category, SC category. 6 seats have been fixed for and one seat has been fixed for ST.

How to apply?

To apply for these posts, interested candidates should visit the official website bpsc.bih.nic.in. On the home page of the website, click on ‘Online Registration’. Complete the registration process by filling in the details asked on the registration page.

You can register with the help of email id and mobile number. You can fill the application form with the help of the registration number and password received on the mobile number. After filling the application form, take a printout for future reference.

Application fees

To apply for this vacancy, Rs 750 for the general category, OBC and EWS category, Rs 200 for SC/ ST and Rs 200 for female candidates has been fixed as the application fee.
