Border Security Force (BSF) has invited online applications for recruitment to the various group-C engineer posts including assistant sub-inspector (ASI). Through this recruitment process BSF will fill 72 vacancies in its engineering set up. Online application process is going on. The last date to apply for these posts is December 29, 2021.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
ASI (Draftsman): Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent from a recognised board or university. In addition, he or she has to obtain a diploma course in draftsmanship (civil) from an Industrial Training Institute (ITI) or equivalent recognised university or institution.
Head constable (carpenter/ plumber/ sewerman): Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent with ITI certificate in the respective trade or three years work experience in a reputed firm.
Constable (generator operator/ generator mechanic/ lineman): Candidates must have passed matriculation or its equivalent with ITI certificate in the respective trade from a recognised institute and three years of experience in the respective trade from a firm recognised by the central or state government.
– Age limit:
The minimum and maximum age limit is 18 years and 25 years respectively as on December 29, 2021. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
