Eligibility criteria
1) Para medical staff
SI (Staff Nurse)
Qualification: i) 10+2 or equivalent pass; ii) Degree/Diploma in General Nursing Programme; iii) Registration as general nurse and midwife with central or state nursing council.
Age: 21-30 years
ASI (Operation Theatre Technician)
Qualification: 10+2 pass with science or its equivalent and diploma in operation technique or certificate in relevant subject from an institute recognized by the central or the state government.
Age: 20-25 years
ASI (laboratory technician)
Qualification: i) 10+2 pass with science or equivalent from a recognised board or institution; (ii) Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology from a recognized Institution of the central or the state government
Age: 18-25 years
CT (Ward Boy/Ward Girl/ Aya)
Qualification: A minimum matriculation or equivalent pass from a recognised university or board and two years of work experience in respective trades.
Age: 8-23 years
2) Veterinary staff
HC (Veterinary)
Qualification: Minimum 12th class pass from a recognized Board; ii) Possessing minimum one-year course in veterinary stock assistant from any recognized Institution and having at least one year post qualification experience.
Age: 18-25 years
Constable (kennelman)
Qualification: i) Minimum 10th class pass from a recognised Board; ii) Two years’ experience in handling animals from government veterinary hospital or
dispensary of veterinary college or government farm.
Age: 18-25 years
3) Air Wing
ASI (Assistant Aircraft Mechanic)
Qualifications: Three years Diploma in the relevant trade recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation or Group “X” Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force and two years relevant aviation experience after completion of Diploma course.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years.
ASI (assistant radio mechanic)
Qualifications: Three years Diploma recognized by the Directorate General Civil Aviation in Telecommunication or Electronic Engineering or Group “X” Radio Diploma issued by the Indian Air Force and two years of experience in maintenance or overhauling of communication or navigation equipment fitted in aircraft or helicopter held by Border Security Force.
Age: Not exceeding 28 years.
Constable (storeman)
Qualifications: Matriculation pass with science or and two years working experience in store or warehousing.
Age: 20-25 years
