As we enter the post-pandemic world, companies are looking at expanding their teams. Choosing Coworking spaces and decentralizing the office - expands the audience for recruiters and lets them consider not just local talent but also people who can’t travel to the office every day.

Blame it on the burnout caused by the increased workload and Covid-induced stress, one in three professionals in India are done with the work from home (WFH) and eager to return to office, according to a study by LinkedIn. The study titled ‘‘Future of Work’ perception is centered around how remote working has caused prolonged stress among Indian professionals who are now hoping for offices to reopen.

Workload and stress on the rise

The survey reveals that 86% of the professionals want a hybrid work model, which would help them to strike balance between their personal and professional lives. On the other hand, 35% said that they have had an increased workload working from home, and another 34% said they experienced stress.

The study further pointed that 72% of the respondents believe that working from home would impact their career growth negatively and more than 50% of the said their professional learnings had taken a hit.

One-third, about 34% of them said it gets harder to learn from peers remotely. Also, 54% of them said that they had less face time with their boss and leaders.

Most importantly the study said that half of India’s workforce wants to go back to office full time as it makes them feel more productive and successful in an office setting.

An overwhelming 89% of the professionals said that their finances will improve as it will help them making more money by working for more hours in the office. Almost 71% of them said that they would get more preference from the bosses or leaders.
