This direct recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 63 vacant posts of deputy section officer (DSO) in Gujarat High Court, out of which 21 posts are reserved for women.

Eligibility criteria
Educational qualification:
Candidates should be a graduate from the recognised university. They should have passed the 10th or 12th standard examination with English as one of the subjects.
Age limit:
Between 18 years to 35 years as on August 6, 2021. Relaxation to the upper age limit is applicable to reserved categories as per government rule.
Salary
Pay matrix of Rs 39,900 per month with other allowances as per the rules.
Application fee
Candidates have to pay online Rs 700 as application and exam fees. The amount is relaxed for SC, ST, SEBC, ESW, differently-abled persons (PH), and ex-servicemen candidates. They have to pay Rs 350.
