North Central Railway (NCR) has invited applications for the recruitment to the post of apprentices. A total of 1,664 vacancies will be filled up through this recruitment process. Through this recruitment process RRC will fill vacancies in different units of North Central Railway for various trades including fitter, stenographer, welder, painter, electrician. Candidates can apply for any of the units. Take a look at the unit wise vacancies.

Eligibility criteria
– Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed SSC/ matriculation/ 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with a minimum 50% in aggregate from a recognised board. In addition, he or she must have passed ITI in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT recognised by the government of India.
– Age limit: The age limit should be above 15 years of age and below 24 years of age as on December 1, 2021. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
Application fee
The application fee for candidates is Rs 100, whereas no fee is applicable to female/ PwBD/ ST/ SC category candidates.
