Oil India (OIL), a ‘Navratna’ category public sector undertaking, has invited applications for recruitment to the various technical Grade-III posts. The online application process has already started. Interested and eligible candidates can apply through the official recruitment website of the company. The last date for submission of the application is September 23, 2021.

According to the advertisement, the posts will entail working in shifts involving arduous and hazardous nature of jobs in remote/far-flung companies installations in the production and exploration areas of Assam and Arunachal Pradesh.

Eligibility criteria

– Educational qualification:

Essential qualification is different for different posts. In case of maximum posts, the minimum educational qualification is class 10 pass. For instance, for electrician posts, the minimum academic qualification is class 10 pass from any government recognised board along with a trade certificate in the relevant trade.

– Age limit:

Between 18 years to 30 years as on September 23, 2021. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for SC, ST, OBC (non-creamy layer), persons with benchmark disabilities, ex-servicemen candidates as per government guidelines.

Selection Process

The selection process will be done on the basis of Computer Based Test (CBT) wherein the qualifying marks will be minimum of 40% marks for SC/ST/Persons with Benchmark Disabilities and minimum of 50% marks for others.
