Ola Chairman and Group CEO, Bhavish Aggarwal in a late night statement on twitter said that the purchase process has been delayed by a week and would commence from September 15.

The company had launched the electric scooter in two variants, S1 and S1 Pro at Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999 respectively, last month. Back then, the company had announced the scooter would be available for purchase from September 8, with the actual deliveries starting from October. The electric scooter comes in ten different colours.

He said that, to give this first of its kind digital purchase journey it will take them another week. They will be starting their purchase on September 15th, 8:00 AM, he added.
