Opportunity for government job-seekers — Rajasthan government is going to recruit more than 600 firemen and assistant fire officers. The recruitment process will be done through Rajasthan Staff Selection Board (RSSB). The board has already issued a notification regarding the recruitment. Interested and eligible candidates can apply for these posts on RSSB’s official website at rsmssb.rajasthan.gov.in from August 18, 2021.
The last date to apply for these posts is September 16, 2021.
The examination is tentatively scheduled in December 2021.

Fireman: 29 posts

Eligibility criteria
i) Educational qualification:
Fireman: Candidates should have passed class 12 or intermediate exam and should also have 6-month fireman training.
Assistant fire officer: Candidates should have a bachelor’s degree in any stream with sub-officer degree from National Fire Service College, Nagpur, or equivalent.
ii) Age: The age limit for both the posts is between 18 to 40 years as on January 1, 2022. Relaxation of the upper age limit is applicable for candidates of reserved categories.
iii) Physical measurement:
Male: 165 cm (height), 50 kg (weight), 81 cm (chest normal), 86 cm (chest with expansion)
Female: 152 cm (height), 47.5 kg (weight).

General/ Backward Classes (creamy layer) / OBC (creamy layer): Rs 450
Backward Classes (non-creamy layer) / OBC (non-creamy layer)/ Economically Weaker Section (EWS): Rs 350
