Recently, WhatsApp has released a new sticker pack known as ‘Sticker Heist’.

The WhatsApp users in selected territories will soon be able to tap and hold a message and react to it through an emoji. According to a report by WABetaInfo, while this feature is in the advanced testing phase for iOS devices, the popular instant messaging platform is also working on bringing this update to Android users as well.

What exactly is the emoji feature?

WhatsApp’s reaction feature will allow users to tap and hold the message that they want to react to and then drag their fingers to the appropriate emoji. The message reactions would be visible just below the texts available on the app. The feature to react to any message via an emoji will most likely be available on both individual and group chats. This will make it impossible to react to messages anonymously and all members of a group will be able to view and respond to the message and the emoji that has been shared.

The option to react to a message through emojis is, at the moment, available on the messenger app of Whatsapp’s parent company Facebook and on Instagram’s Direct Messaging service.

WABetaInfo showed a screenshot of a message to which seven emojis can be seen as responses. By tapping on the emojis, the user will be able to find out which emoji was posted by which user. The website reported that many more features could be part of the final rollout.

Recently, WhatsApp has released a new sticker pack known as ‘Sticker Heist’. The sticker pack includes 17 stickers to celebrate the release of the fifth and final season of popular Netflix show Money Heist, which has regularly topped the charts in India and has been the subject of many memes. Interested users can get the Sticker Heist pack directly from the stickers store available on WhatsApp.
