There is no Monthly Average Balance requirement

State Bank of India (SBI), the country’s largest bank, has invited applications for the recruitment of apprentices for one year. This recruitment drive will fill up 6,100 vacancies in different departments across the country. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for this post through the online mode.

The online application window is already open. The last date of registration July 26, 2021.

Vacancy details

Total number of vacancies: 6,100

Category-wise tentative number of seats are as follows:

Unreserved category (UR): 2,577

Scheduled caste (SC): 977

Scheduled tribe (ST): 567

Other backward classes (OBC): 1,375

Economically weaker section (EWS): 604

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: Graduation from a recognised university or institute as on October 31, 2020.

The candidates applying for vacancies in a particular state, should be proficient in the local language of that state as mentioned in the advertisement.

Age: Minimum 20 years and maximum 28 years as on October 31, 2020.

Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable as per government of India guidelines for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates.

Training duration

Duration of training is one year.

Stipend

The apprentices are eligible for a stipend of Rs 15,000 per month.

Selection process

Candidates will be selected on the basis of online written test and test of local language.

General/OBC/EWS: Rs 300

SC/ST/PWD: No charge
