Co-WIN2.0: Here's how you can register

One must carry a government ID proof to the inoculation centre. Documents can also be uploaded on the app

The estimates for risk were observed after accounting for differences regarding date of vaccination, age of the participants, socioeconomic status, and other risk factors for Covid-19.

The second phase of the immunisation drive has kicked off. All citizens above 60 and those above 45 with co-morbidities are eligible to get the vaccine shots in this phase.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi also got his first Covaxin shot on March 1.

Here’s a look at the registration process:

—Registrations have started from 9 am today through Co-WIN 2.0 app or www.cowin.gov.in

—One can also register through the Arogya Setu App

—Appointments can be booked from 9 am to 3 pm. Today, the slots can be booked for any day.

—After registering, the app will give many options for covid vaccination centres. Citizens must choose the CVC as per their choice and comfort.

—One can choose either from private or public inoculation centres.

—The Co-WIN app is GPS-enabled which will ease the process of choosing the CVCs.

—One must carry a government ID proof to the inoculation centre. Documents can also be uploaded on the app.

—A person can register four people through one mobile number.

The vaccination is capped at a price of Rs 250 for private hospitals. It is free at the government facilities.
