Paras Defence and Space Technologies IPO created history as it was the most subscribed IPO. IPO saw an overwhelming response from all the categories of investors. It received bids of 2,17,26,31,875 shares against the offered 71,40,793 equity shares, as per the 5:00 pm data available on the bourses. The issue was subscribed 304.26 times making it the most subscribed IPO in history. The portion reserved for the non-institutional investor category was subscribed 927.70 times and the retail investors were subscribed 112.81 times, while the qualified institutional buyer category was subscribed 169.65 times.

“The colossal response, the IPO got, was mainly due to tiny-sized issue, unique business and government focus on defence sector. However, if we dive to financials, the growth seems to be muted,” said Abhay Doshi, Founder of Unlisted Arena.

According to grey market observers, the shares of the company are quoting at Rs 405 apiece marking a premium of Rs 230 or 131% over its issue price of Rs 175.

The listing may deliver massive returns to the lucky allottees owing to record-breaking subscriptions and high fancy, particularly, for this issue, Doshi added.

Allotment status

Go to the website of the IPO registrar, Link Intime India or click on https://linkintime.co.in/MIPO/Ipoallotment.html

Select IPO (Paras Defence and Space Technologies)

Then, select one of the options: In case you select the application number, choose NON-ASBA or ASBA and enter the application number.

In the case of DPID/Client ID, select NSDL/CDSL and enter DPID.

In the case of PAN, enter the PAN Number.
