Tata Motors: The auto major announced that effective August 3, it will increase prices of its passenger vehicles, on an average of 0.8%, depending on the variant and model.

MCF: Mangalore Chemicals and Fertilizers reported a more than two-fold growth in net profit for the quarter ending June at Rs 24.32 crore compared to the same period of the previous financial year.

PNB: State-owned Punjab National Bank (PNB) reported over three-fold rise in its standalone net profit to Rs 1,023.46 crore for the first quarter ended June 30. The bank had posted a profit of Rs 308.45 crore in the same quarter last year.

RBL Bank: Small-sized private sector lender RBL Bank reported a loss of Rs 459.47 crore for the June quarter as against a profit of Rs 141 crore in the year-ago period.

Vedanta: The company on Monday said its aluminium vertical has become the country’s largest green power purchaser at the Indian Energy Exchange Ltd (IEX) platform in the first quarter of the ongoing fiscal.

SpiceJet: SpiceJet is planning to launch 16 new flights, including direct services connecting Bhavnagar with the national capital, Mumbai and Surat. The budget carrier will also start 10 more flights that will connect Gwalior with Jaipur, Kishangarh (Ajmer) with Mumbai, Belagavi with Delhi and Vishakhapatnam with Bengaluru, besides adding an additional frequency on the Delhi-Jammu sector. Direct flights connecting Bhavnagar with Delhi, Mumbai and Surat will start from August 20.

NMDC: NMDC’s iron ore production rose by 3.6 per cent to 11.96 million tonne (MT) during the April-July period of the ongoing financial year. The company had produced 8.80 MT of iron ore during the corresponding period of 2020-21.

Tata Steel: Tata Steel Kalinganagar, the state-of-the-art steel plant located in Jajpur District of Odisha, has introduced a new Robotic system for its Wagon Tippler operation. The tippling operations at the Raw-material Handling System of the steel plant, involves critical activities like decoupling, coupling, rotation and CBC alignment of wagon through manual intervention at inhaul and outhaul side.
