Trading of Nifty 50 index futures on the Singapore stock exchange indicates that the Nifty could gain over 50 points at the opening bell. Earlier, the domestic equity barometers ended with almost flat on Wednesday. The Nifty closed above the 16,250 mark after hitting the day’s low of 16,162.55 in mid-morning trade. Metal shares bounced amid value buying. Private banks and pharma shares were under pressure. The S&P BSE Sensex, fell 28.73 points or 0.05% to 54,525.93.
