Here’s how you can check your EPF account balance

EPFO, the retirement fund body, has over six crore members. It has credited interest of 8.5% for 2019-20 to its members.

Members can view their account details online and see the amount credited.

Here are the steps that you need to follow to check your account balance:

— Visit the EPFO website (www.epfindia.gov.in) and click on the e-passbook link

— Enter UAN and password

— After logging in, select the member id if earlier employment has been with different organisations

— Users can also check balance by sending SMS to 7738299899 from registered mobile number. The individual has to type ‘EPFO UAN ENG’.

— The service is also available in other languages

— Members can also check balance by giving a missed call to 011-22901406 from their registered number.
