Amit Mishra’s scalps worth Rs. 37.6 crores spin Mumbai Indians out of the game

He triggered the collapse of MI batting with the wicket of Rohit Sharma followed by H Pandya, Pollard, and Ishan Kishan – a combined worth of Rs 37.6 Crores. Such high ROI, from a 38 year veteran, is worth its weight in gold. For his 4 wickets for just 24 runs, Mishra was awarded the Man of the Match trophy, as well.

Shikhar Dhawan (Rs 5.20 Crores): The dashing left-hander continued his sensational form against MI. On this rare occasion, Pandya was dismissed for a golden duck, didn’t bowl, and couldn’t contribute much on the field as well. Playing an irresponsible shot of his first ball, Pandya became Amit Mishra’s 2nd victim. In this year’s IPL Pandya has scored only 35 runs in 4 matches a very low ROI for an Rs 11 Crores buy.

Krunal Pandya (Rs 8.80 Crores): The left-handed all-rounder’s performance has been equally disappointing this year. Scoring just 26 runs and claiming 3 wickets in his 4 outings. Coming to the crease at the dismissal of Hardik Pandya, he followed suit just 4 runs later. Krunal managed to score on a single of five balls before being cleaned up by Lalit Yadav.

Kieron Pollard (Rs 5.40 Crores): The disappointing run of MI middle-order continued as Pollard could only score 2 runs off 5 balls and looked clueless against DC’s bowling. With the ball, he did manage to pick up the wicket of Steve Smith but failed to have any further impact on the game.
