Behavioural biases that damage your investments!

In matters of investment, the sooner you acknowledge your mistakes, the sooner you'll find help in getting out of the soup. To break free from biases, the first step should be to identify those biases, says, Balwant Jain, Tax and Investment Expert.

A new Income Tax Return (ITR) form has been released for FY21-22, however, no major changes were made to the forms due to the ongoing pandemic in the country. The Finance Ministry said only some necessary changes have been made in the ITR-1 to ITR-7 form due to amendments in Section 1961 of the Income Tax Act.

“No change has been made in the process of filing the ITR form. It is the same as last year. Dedicated space has been given to refer to the taxpayers’ investment in the new income tax return form,” The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) stated.
