The use of credit cards in the country is continuously increasing. According to RBI’s report, the number of credit cards reached 8.6 crores in April 2023. During this period, credit card transactions amounted to 1.3 lakh crores rupees. But do you know about the country’s most expensive credit card? HDFC Bank’s Infinia credit card is the most expensive in the country. It is a card that is offered by the bank and you cannot apply for it. Infinia credit card is already available, but now HDFC is planning to launch it in a new avatar.

What are the features?
HDFC Infinia credit card offers a credit limit of 10 lakh rupees. This card provides the facility to access more than 1,000 airport lounges. For every expenditure of 150 rupees using this card, you will earn 5 reward points. You get unlimited access to domestic and international airport lounges with this card. If you book a three-night stay at ITC hotels using this card, you only have to pay for two nights. Additionally, you receive a membership to Marriott Hotels, where you get a 20% discount on dining and spa services. This card also provides benefits for playing various games at golf courses. If you are traveling abroad, you also get a medical insurance of 50 lakh rupees with this card.

What is the fee?
The annual fee for HDFC Infinia credit card is 12,500 rupees. However, you will also receive 12,500 reward points. If you spend 10 lakh rupees or more in a year, your membership fee for the next year will be waived off. The bank charges a 2% fee for foreign currency transactions on this card. Importantly, if you lose this card and someone else uses it for shopping, you are not liable for those charges. Therefore, people are eagerly awaiting the new version of this card and its additional features.”
