Financial planning in 50s: Here’s expert advice

For a majority of professionals, savings does not come in the top criteria bracket in the initial stages of professional life. Bound by various responsibilities, many are not able to chart out a savings plan for their golden years.

Money9 Helpline hosted Vishal Dhawan, founder and CEO, Plan Ahead Wealth Advisors, to help viewers gain better understanding of financial planning in the last stage of their professional careers.

“The 50s is a very important phase. Any lapse in financial planning at this stage can prove costly as there won’t be much time left to make up for them. People should focus on reducing loans and adopt a balanced approach with regards to investment strategy,” said Dhawan.
