Nifty will continue to rise further to claim 17,800 soon: Harsh Patidar, CapitalVia Global

Benchmark indices on the BSE Sensex and NSE Nifty50 gave up some of their morning gains and were trading marginally higher in the early afternoon trade on Monday. While the Sensex was up 159 points at 58,289, the Nifty was trading at 17,365, up 41 points. Harsh Patidar of CapitalVia Global research spoke to Money9 on the best way to invest in markets trading at all-time highs.

“The Nifty may continue to rise further and claim 17,800 levels as the markets are in a sweet spot. The Nifty Bank is expected to catch up with private banks taking the lead. The best strategy  for investors is to see where they can book profits and shift to momentum sectors”, he said

He believes the auto sector will be in limelight now ahead of the festive season and private banks will take the lead in taking Nifty higher.
