Toyota Kirloskar Motor has increased the prices of its cars for the second time within six weeks. This time, the prices of Innova Crysta, Urban Cruiser, Camry, and Glanza have been increased. The prices have been increased up to Rs 60,000. Earlier this year in February, Toyota had increased the price of its flagship SUV, Urban Cruiser HyRyder. The new generation MPV Innova HyCross has also seen a second price hike after March.

Rs 60,000 costlier
After the recent price hike, customers will have to pay an additional Rs 60,000 for the entry-level strong hybrid variant S e-CVT HyRyder. The prices for the other two strong hybrid variants of the SUV will be increased by Rs. 25,000. In the mild hybrid version of the SUV, there has been an increase of Rs. 20,000 in the prices of four entry-level variants. Most other variants have seen a nominal increase of Rs. 2,000 in their prices. The ex-showroom prices of the HyRyder SUV will now start from Rs. 10.73 lakh and go up to Rs. 19.74 lakh.

The price of the Toyota Innova HyCross MPV has been increased by Rs 27,000. This hike in price has been made for the hybrid variants ZX and ZX(O) in addition to VX and VX(O). Now, the ex-showroom price of the mid-trim Innova HyCross model will range from Rs 25.03 lakh to Rs 30 lakh.

The variants of the Glanza hatchback will now cost at least Rs 5,000 more. Except for the top-end V AMT variant, all other variants of the hatchback, including the CNG variant, have witnessed a price increase. The ex-showroom price of the Glanza now ranges from Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 10 lakh.

The price of the Camry Hybrid sedan has been increased by Rs 46,000. Earlier, its ex-showroom price was Rs 45.25 lakh, which has now been revised to Rs 45.71 lakh.

Tata Motors also follows
Tata Motors has also increased the prices of some variants of its entry-level cars, Tiago and Tigor. All variants of Tiago, except the XTA(O) variants, have seen an increase of Rs 6,000. Meanwhile, the XE, XMA, and XM CNG variants of Tigor have seen the highest increase of Rs 10,000. The prices of the XZ, XZ Plus, XZ CNG, XZ Plus AT, and XZ Plus CNG variants have been increased by Rs 6,000. The new prices are effective from May 1, 2023.
