The new Royal Enfield Himalayan enters the Indian market with a new seat, windscreen, and rare carrier maintaining the same powertrain.

The 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan has been introduced in India starting at ₹ 2.01 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).  The 2021 Himalayan gets three new colour options which are Pine Green, Mirage Silver and Granite Black. The green and black colour options are priced at ₹ 2.09 lakh each (ex-showroom, Delhi).

The beast comes with a new seat, windscreen and rear carrier, keeping the powertrain same. It also bundled with the tripper navigation function that made a debut on the Meteor 350. The hardware occupies the space next to the instrument cluster.

The tank guards upfront get a slight revision in design. They are now smaller and forward-set, based on customer feedback that the earlier unit made it cramped for taller riders. The rear luggage rack now gets a plate, which makes it easier to mount luggage and panniers. The flyscreen atop the round headlight is new too has a slimmer design. Royal Enfield says that the seat has been improved to offer better comfort.

The engine, styling and hardware remain similar to its predecessor, and the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan continues to use a round headlight and a windscreen at the front. The adventure tourer rides on a 21-inch front and an 18-inch rear wire-spoke wheel. Other hardware on the motorcycle includes telescopic front forks, preload-adjustable rear mono-shock, disc brakes on both wheels, and a dual-channel ABS.

Now the bike lovers can take a test ride and book it as well. The launch of the 2021 Royal Enfield Himalayan has also marked the debut of the motorcycle in the ‘Make-It-Yours’ platform where the customers can personalize, accessorize the motorcycle online.
