Which Scorpio N, Bolero Neo variants are costlier now?

According to leading auto news website, ‘RushLane’, home grown automobile manufacturer, Mahindra & Mahindra, has announced new Scorpio N variant prices. The Mumbai-based automobile juggernaut has also announced new Bolero Neo variant prices.  According to  ‘RushLane’, all trims of Z2 and Z4 variants of Scorpio Neo (both petrol and diesel variants) have become costlier by Rs 25,000 plus. The new price of Z2 Petrol MT RWD which is the lowest trim of Z2 variant will be now be minimum Rs 14.10 lakh. While, that of highest trim of Z2 variant will now be at least Rs 15 lakh.

While, the new price of Z4 Petrol MT RWD which is the lowest trim of Z4 variant of Scorpio N will be now be Rs 15.70 lakh. Whereas, that of highest trim of Z4 variant will now be Rs 18.76 lakh. Although, these prices are still not reflected on M&M’s website. These prices are quoted the auto news website, ‘RushLane’.

According to the auto news website, M&M has also raised prices of some Scorpio N Z8 variants by Rs 10,000 and more. Some Bolero Neo variant prices have also increased by up to more than Rs 14,000.

Prices of all other vaitants of Scorpio N remains at earlier level.

The Anand Mahindra-owned automotive company mostly sells SUVs in India.

M&M had recently hiked prices of another of its SUV -Mahindra Thar. Other vehicles of the company sold in India are Scorpio Classic, XUV 3XO, XUV 700, XUV 300, Bolero Neo Plus and Marazzo. While, M&M sells only two electric vehicle which is XUV400 and E Verito.

These days car companies in India have  jumped on the bandwagon to jack up car prices. Companies have hiked prices continuously in last one year. This was because of increase in raw material prices and also because of compulsory implementation of new emission and safety equipment in vehicles made by the government of India. Since, April 1, 2024, all automotive companies are required to follow BS VI phase – II norms in manufacturing of passenger vehicles.
