Amazon Prime Youth Offer: Price, duration and other details

Amazon India has launched the Amazon Youth Offer for new Prime members. Subscribers between the age of 18 and 24 will be eligible for a cashback of up to Rs 500 as part of this new offer. Only subscribers who purchase a three-month or annual membership will be eligible for this offer. 

With Amazon Prime Membership, customers enjoy Prime deals, free and faster delivery through Amazon India’s e-commerce platform, as well as entertainment services such as Prime Video and Music. 

How can you avail the offer?

Users with an active Prime subscription will not be eligible for the Amazon Prime Youth Offer. The offer will not apply to accounts that had Prime subscriptions before, but which have now expired. The Youth Offer can only be accessed via the Amazon India Android app, and not via desktop or iOS browsers.

Here’s how you can go about it:

– You can get the offer by searching for the Amazon Prime Youth Offer in the Amazon India app on your android smartphone.

— Then, you need to proceed to the payment of the subscription at the normal rate after searching the youth offer. You can choose between the three-month plan at Rs 329 or the annual plan at Rs 999.

— After subscribing, you will be prompted to upload a proof of identity and a selfie. Note: Youth offer will be canceled within 15 days after signing up for Prime if you fail to complete the step.

— You can upload any government-issued identity proof here. It may take Amazon up to 48 hours from the time you upload your identity to process the offer.

— Your Amazon Pay wallet will receive a 50% refund once your subscription payment has been processed. Quarterly subscribers will receive Rs 165, and annual subscribers will receive Rs 500 in Amazon Pay.

Thus, the effective price will either be Rs 164 for three months or Rs 499 for the entire year for the Prime subscription.

Validity

The end date of Amazon India’s promotional offer has not yet been specified. Nevertheless, since such promotional offers are available for only limited periods, users are advised to enroll in the service as soon as possible, if they wish to avail the offer. The bundled Amazon Prime subscription plan is one of the cheapest subscription plans available in India.
