This Bengaluru gallery has put up works of 21 artists on display

It is not very often when 21 prominent contemporary artists get together to hold an exhibition of their artworks who have found a niche for themselves in the national and international level.

Bengaluru’s Gallery Sumukha is holding an exhibition of drawings of artists such as Arun Kumar HG, Baiju Parthan, George Martin PJ, Gigi Scaria, Jayasri Burman and Paresh Maity.

The artists who works feature in this exhibition are established names in domains of painting, sculpture, printmaking, installations, and other contemporary hybrid media. The gallery authorities say that the works on display are those that are lesser known and, therefore, add value to the exhibition.

The works on display here demonstrate the contemporary approach to drawing and help one evaluate drawing as a powerful language in arts.
