These nine countries are now accepting Indian travellers

Russia: To encourage tourism, Russia resumed flight operations recently. Travelers must carry a negative RT-PCR test result, issued not less than 72 hours before arrival. Antibody tests will not be accepted.

Turkey: Travelers to Turkey must have negative PCR results within 72 hours of boarding the flight. Also, travellers will have to undergo quarantine for 14 days in locations determined by Turkish authorities. One may also be subjected to random PCR testing upon their arrival.

Iceland: Now travelers from anywhere in the world can go to Iceland. A proof of previous infection and recovery or certificate of vaccination (Covishield in India’s case) will even exempt one from providing a negative PCR-test result.

Serbia: Serbia’s doors are also open for Indian travellers. Serbia requires people to provide an RT-PCR report that is no older than 48 hours to board their flight, unlike most countries that require a negative test that is less than 72 hours old before boarding.

Egypt: Indians are now allowed to travel to Egypt. However, you must submit RT-PCR test results within 72 hours of your arrival. Until their tests are negative, travelers are expected to remain in quarantine at the place where they stay.

Uzbekistan: Before traveling to Uzbekistan this year, you will need to provide a negative RT-PCR test report no older than 72 hours before arrival. You will also need to undergo a 14-day quarantine period.

India has invested about Rs 22,251 crore in Afghanistan in the last 20 years. During the last two decades, India has constructed about 218 km road between Delaram and Zaranj Salma Dam in Afghanistan

South Africa: In order to travel to South Africa, you only need an RT-PCR test report, which should not be older than 72 hours before arrival. Travelers will be required to self-quarantine at their own expense if they fail to present their negative RT-PCR test as proof of arrival.

Costa Rica: There is no requirement for vaccination certificates or RT-PCR test reports for Indians traveling to Costa Rica. However, travelers to this rainforested Central American nation will need to fill out a health pass on arrival.
