OPPO A53s 5G launched: Check price, specs

Billed as the most-affordable 5G smartphone, the Oppo A53s 5G has been launched in India. The phone is powered by a 5000mAh battery and will be available for purchase from May 2 on Flipkart and major retail outlets.

The Oppo A53S5G is available in two options — 6GB RAM with 128GB storage at the price of Rs 14,990 and the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage priced at Rs 16,990. The smartphone has been introduced in two colours — Crystal Blue and Ink Black.

Specifications

In terms of specifications, the Oppo A53S5G runs on the Android 11 based Color OS 11.1 operating system. It has a 6.52 inch HD + (16.55 cm) display with an 88.7% screen-to-body ratio and standard 60Hz refresh rate.  The Oppo A53s 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor. For privacy and security, the device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Camera

The Oppo A53s 5G, offers a triple-camera setup at the rear with a 13MP primary camera, 2MP macro lens, and a 2MP depth sensor. For selfies, the company has provided an 8MP camera at the front  AI beautification feature. Full HD videos at 30 frames per second can be recorded by the front, as well as the primary camera at the rear.

Battery capacity

The 5000 mAh battery offers 17.7 hours of continuous video playback and 37.8 hours of talk time and it supports 10W charging. As mentioned above the phone supports the 5G cellular network. It also supports the dual SIM card option, both of them will work on the 5G network simultaneously. Other connectivity options include dual-band Wi-Fi ac, Bluetooth v5.1, GPS, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a USB Type-C port.
