Now, you have to pay more to bring your favourite Royal Enfield bike home

When it comes to Royal Enfield bikes, prospective buyers are always ready to shell out extra money.  The iconic bike manufacturer has now declared a price hike of Rs. 6,000 -13,000 on its best-selling 350cc motorcycle range, that includes Classic, Bullet, and Meteor.

Royal Enfield had earlier increased prices in January and this is the second price hike in three months. The earlier increase in the price was up to Rs 3,000 on various models.

After the new price hike, you have to pay Rs 1.72 lakh to Rs 1.99 lakh(ex-showroom, Mumbai) for the RE classic 350 range. The Meteor 350’s cost has increased by Rs 6,000. After the addition, you can bring home the entry-level RE Meteor Fireball variant in Rs 1.84 lakh while the top-end Supernova mode would now be available at a whopping price of Rs 1.99 Lakh. All these are the ex-showroom prices.

The Meteor 350 has a 349cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine with a fuel injection system. It produces a top power of 20.2bhp and 27Nm of torque. The design of Meteor is 350 is based on a new J platform which will also lay the foundation of the new-generation Royal Enfield Classic 350.

The Royal Enfield Meteor 350 comes with a new 5-speed gearbox for performing transmission duties. It comes in 7 color options. The bike has 19-inch front and 17-inch rear alloy wheels. The Meteor is Royal Enfield’s first bike to have the feature of turn-by-turn navigation called Tripper Navigation.

It is planning to launch the new-generation version of the Classic 350 in the Indian market very soon. According to media reports, the company is planning to further increase the prices after the launch of the new 2021 RE classic 350. It is expected to be launched in the coming months. It is said to be built on the new J platform that made its debut on the Meteor 350. The new one is said to be lighter and stronger with better and fewer vibrations.
