Banks will remain closed on nine days in June, which includes second and fourth Saturdays of the month and Sundays.
Banks across Mizoram’s Aizawl and Odisha’s Bhubaneswar will observe a holiday on June 15 on account of YMA Day and Raja Sankranti. On June 25, banks in Jammu and Srinagar will remain shut to observe Guru Hargobind Ji’s birthday while banks in Aizawl will remain closed on June 30 on account of Remna Ni.
Bank holidays vary from state to state and only gazetted holidays are observed by banks all over the country.
