During the pandemic, a lot of insecurity and concern of the common man is centered around two things – medical expenditure and falling interest rates that dip below inflation figures. Private lender DCB Bank is offering a health plus fixed deposit scheme that offers these add-on facilities.
With this fixed deposit scheme, the primary holder will get benefits such as free tele-consultation and free consultation with doctors in out-patient department of select hospitals. Pharmacy bill reimbursement and unlimited emergency services such as ambulance facility are also available.
A primary account holder can open up to 4 DCB health plus fixed deposits.

For Rs 10 lakh FD 10 tele-consultation and 4 OPD facilities along with Rs 1,000 pharmacy bill would be reimbursed. You will get unlimited ambulance and other emergency facilities for a period of one year.
With Rs 15 lakh FD, six OPD and 10 tele-consultations along with Rs 1,500 pharmacy bill would be reimbursed. Unlimited ambulance and other emergency facilities would also be there.
Anyone depositing between Rs 15 lakh and Rs 25 lakh is entitled to get 8 tele-consultations and an equal number of OPD consultations along with reimbursement of pharmacy bill of Rs 2,000. Unlimited ambulance facilities would also be provided.
For the highest slab of above Rs 25 lakh, a person can get 10 tele-consultations and 10 OPD consultations along with Rs 3,000 pharmacy bill, unlimited ambulance and other emergency facilities.
For the medical benefits the bank has tied up with ICICI Lombard Group Take Care Insurance Plan.
