Goa PWD recruitment: Apply for 368 junior engineer and technical assistant posts

The public works department (PWD) of Goa government has invited online applications for recruitment to the post of junior engineer and technical assistant. These are group-c, non-gazetted posts. This direct recruitment drive will fill up a total number of 368 vacancies on a temporary basis. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website of goa government. The online application window will open on September 7, 2021. The last date to apply for the posts is September 27, 2021.

Eligibility criteria

a) Educational qualification:

– Technical Assistant (civil ): Candidates should have a degree engineering in civil from a recognised university.

Knowledge of Konkani language is also essential to apply for this post.

– Technical Assistant (mechanical / electrical): Candidates should have a degree in engineering in mechanical / electrical from a recognised university.

Knowledge of Konkani language is also essential to apply for this post.

– Technical assistant (mining): Candidates should have a degree in engineering in mining from a recognised university.

Knowledge of Konkani language is also essential to apply for this post.

– Technical assistant (computer/ electronics/ information technology): Candidates should have a degree in engineering from a recognised university in the branch of information technology/ computers/ electronics/ electronics and tele communications/ electrical and electronics.

Knowledge of Konkani language is also essential to apply for this post.

– Junior engineer: Candidates should have a degree from a recognised university or diploma from a recognised institution in the concerned branch of engineering i.e. civil/ electrical/ mechanical/ auto-mobile/ fabrication/ information technology/ computer/ electronics/ electronics and tele-communication/ electrical and electronics.

Knowledge of Konkani language is also essential to apply for this post.

b) Age limit:

Not more than 45 years as on the last date of the advertisement. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.

Salary

Technical Assistant: Level – 6 (Rs 35,400 to Rs 1,12,400 per month)

Junior Engineer: Level – 5 (Rs.29,200 to Rs 92,300 per month)
