Here’s what OTT platforms are showing this weekend

Mimi - Netflix: Directed by Laxman Utekar, Mimi is the remake of the Marathi film Mala Aai Vhhaychy. It stars Kriti Sanon, Pankaj Tripathi and Sai Tamhankar. Kriti is playing the role of a surrogate mother. The film released on Netflix on July 26, four days before its release date.

How To Sell Drugs Online (Fast) Season 3 - Netflix: It is a German comedy-drama series where this season’s story moves ahead with Moritz finding himself alone, without any friends and no plans about what to do next. It premiered on July 27.

Myth And Mogul: John Delorean - Netflix: It is a three-part automotive icon documentary on John DeLorean. He went from being an engineer to an executive to an icon. The project has been helmed by Oscar-winning director DA Pennebaker. It releases on July 30.

Lines - Voot: Hina Khan’s Lines started streaming on July 29. The film was shot in Kashmir and revolves around a young girl with the message that love stands above religion, borders and politics. It has been directed by Hussain Khan.

Lihaaf - Voot: Releasing on July 31 Lihaaf is based on the life of famous novelist Ismat Chugtai. It traces how she had to go through a trial after publishing her highly controversial short story, Lihaaf (The Quilt) in the year 1942. It is directed by Rahat Kazmi.

Love in the Time of Corona - Voot: It is a part of the Voot Film Festival. The film consists of three short stories created by a majority of female cast and crew. The film shows the life of three different women living under lockdown due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

Chhatrasal - MX Player: Starring Ashutosh Rana, Neena Gupta and Jitin Gulati, Chhatrasal is a historical saga set in the 18th century. The magnum opus highlights the unsung warrior from India’s Hindi heartland and is based on the life of Bundelkhand’s King Chhatrasal. It released on 29th July.

City of Dreams' Season 2 - Disney+ Hotstar: Released on July 30, season 2 of the political drama follows the story of a father and his daughter fighting for power, essayed by Atul Kulkarni and Priya Bapat respectively

Balcony Buddies- MX Player: Starring Aisha Ahmed and Amol Parashar, Balcony Buddies is a movie based on an accidental friendship between two strangers during the lockdown. Their bond begins as their balconies face each other.
