Upcoming CNG cars in India

Maruti Suzuki Dzire CNG: Maruti’s current line-up is petrol only since the introduction of BS6 norms. The Dzire compact sedan can be a good choice. It will use 1.2L K12M Dualjet petrol engine with the CNG kit. The petrol unit returns a claimed power of 89bhp and 113N of torque.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: It is expected to be more fuel efficient than its regular petrol counterpart. It will be powered by a 1.2L petrol engine coupled to a CNG kit. The petrol engine provides a peak power of 89bhp and 113Nm of torque. It gives mileage of 23.20kmpl.

Maruti Suzuki Celerio: Maruti will be launching the new-generation Celerio with CNG variant in the near future. The company is expected to offer a CNG kit from the base variant of the new-generation Celerio itself. Maruti as a brand has always been known for its value-for-money products.

Tata Tiago CNG: The Tiago CNG will come with the 1.2L naturally aspirated petrol engine with a factory-fitted CNG kit. Currently, its petrol version produces 86hp and 113Nm of torque. With the addition of CNG variants, the Tiago will have a wider appeal in the market

Tata Tigor CNG: Similar to the Tiago, the Tigor CNG will be available with the 1.2L NA petrol engine. With the addition of a factory fitted CNG kit, Tata Motors could make the Tigor CNG available as a commercial offering as well.

Honda Amaze CNG: Honda Amaze is ready to get a mid-life update on 17th August 2021. The updated model lineup will include CNG variant packed with 1.2L petrol engine.

Ford Aspire CNG: The Aspire was available in CNG back in 2019, however, with the introduction of newer BS6 norms, this variant got discontinued. Ford is expected to bring a factory-fitted CNG variant of this car soon. It will be powered by the 1.2L petrol engine.

Toyota Innova Crysta CNG: The upcoming Toyota Innova Crysta CNG is expected to arrive in coming months as per auto reports. The MPV will use the 2.7L dual VVT-I petrol with the CNG kit.
