Uttarakhand to recruit jail guards, here’s all you need to know

The Uttarakhand government is all set to recruit jail guard (group C) posts. The recruitment process will be done by Uttarakhand Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UKSSSC) through a direct recruitment process.

The total number of vacancies 213. The commission already has published a notification regarding the recruitment process.

The online registration link will be active from July 1, 2021. The last date of submission of application is August 14, 2021.

Eligibility criteria

Education qualification: The candidate must have an intermediate or equivalent passed certificate from a recognised school. In addition, knowledge of Devanagari Hindi is mandatory. As on July 1, 2020 the candidate must be between 21 to 35 years.

Selection process

Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of physical efficiency test (PET)/ physical standard test (PST)/ objective test.

SC/ST/Other: Rs 150
