Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore Limited (FACT), a public sector undertaking, has invited applications for 98 trade apprentice posts. Duration of training is one year. Interested and eligible applicants can apply for these posts on or before December 18, 2021.

Plumber: 4 posts
Mechanic (motor vehicle): 6 posts
Carpenter: 2 posts
Mechanic (diesel): 4 posts
Instrument mechanic: 12 posts
Welder (gas and electric): 9 posts
Painter: 2 posts
COPA / front office assistant: 12 posts
Eligibility criteria
– Educational qualification: Candidates must have an ITI certificate in the relevant trade approved by National Council for Vocational Training with 60% marks. But for SC/ST candidates, the minimum marks should be 50%. Applicants domiciled in Kerala will be considered.
– Age limit: Age not more than 23 years as on January 1, 2022. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.
Stipend
According to notification, selected candidates will be eligible for stipend of Rs 7,000 per month.
How to apply
As per official notification, application form for trade apprentices which are available in FACT website www.fact.co.in should be downloaded and submitted to FACT Training and Development Centre on or before December 18, 2021 (4 pm). Candidates should register themselves at www.apprenticeshipindia.org. The registration ID, phone number and e-mail ID should be clearly mentioned in the application form.
