Gujarat State Electricity Corporation has invited applications for recruitment to the post of Vidyut Sahayaks (junior engineer). The total number of vacancies is 155. The online application process has already started. Candidates are required to apply online only through www.gsecl.in. The last date for submission of an online application is September 14, 2021, by 6 pm.
According to the advertisement, the selected candidate shall be appointed initially for the period of five years and may be considered for appointment to the post of junior engineer on a regular establishment on the pay scale of Rs 45,400 to Rs 1,01,200 per month.

This recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 155 vacancies. Out of which 48 seats are reserved for women. Take a took on post-wise details:

Vidyut Sahayak (junior engineer – civil): 25
i) Educational qualification: The candidates must have completed full-time BE or BTech in the concerned posts for which or she is applying in regular mode from recognised university duly approved by UGC/AICTE with a minimum of 55% in the seventh and eighth semester without being allowed to keep terms (ATKT).
ii) Age limit: The age limit is 35 years for the unreserved category.
Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable to the reserved, EWS category, persons with benchmark disabilities, and ex-servicemen candidates as per government guidelines.
iii) Required skills: The candidate should possess knowledge of computer operations and good command of the English and Gujarati languages.
The application fee for unreserved, socially and educationally backward classes (SEBC) and economically weaker section (EWS) candidates is Rs 500. For ST, SC, and PwD candidates the application fee is Rs 250.
The exam will be conducted via online mode considering the number of candidates registered.
According to notification, the first year’s fixed remuneration will be Rs 37,000 and followed by Rs 39,000 for the second to fifth years.
