Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of agricultural development officer (ADO). This is an administrative cadre post in agriculture and farmers welfare department of Haryana government. The total number of vacancies is 500. Vacancy details

The recruitment drive is initiated to fill up a total number of 500 vacancies in agricultural development officer (ADO) posts in Haryana government’s agriculture and farmers welfare department. Take a look at the category wise break-up of the posts.

General/ Unreserved: 275 posts

Scheduled Castes (SC) of Haryana: 100 posts

Backward Classes- A (BC-A) of Haryana: 50 posts

Backward Classes- (BC-B) of Haryana: 25 posts

Economically Weaker Section (EWS) of Haryana: 50 posts

Eligibility criteria

– Educational qualification: Candidates should have a BSc (Honours) degree in agriculture from any recognised university. They also should have Sanskrit or Hindi up to matriculation or 10+2 (HS) or BA or MA with Hindi as one of the subjects.

– Age limit: Candidates should not be less than l7 years and not more than 35 of age as on September 01, 2021.

Application fees

As per notification, male candidates of the general category and all reserved categories of other states will have to pay Rs 1,000 as application fee. All female candidates will have to pay Rs 250 as application fees, while male and female candidates of SC/ BC-A/ BC-B/ ESM category of Haryana and EWS category will have to pay Rs 250 as application fees.
