Himachal Pradesh Police to recruit 1,334 constables

Himachal Pradesh Police has released a notification for recruitment to the various constable posts. This recruitment drive is initiated to fill up a total of 1,334 vacancies, out of which 311 posts are reserved for women. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website of HP police at www.recruitment.hppolice.gov.in. The online application window will open on October 1, 2021 and the last day for application is October 31, 2021. Constable – general duty (male): 932 posts

Constable – general duty (female): 311 posts

Constable – drivers (male): 91 posts

Eligibility criteria

– Educational qualification: The applicants should have passed higher secondary (10+2) or any other equivalent examination from a recognised board or institute.

– Age limit: Candidates be between 18 and 25 years as of October 31, 2021. Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.

Salary

The initial pay band will be Rs 5,910 to Rs 20,200 plus grade pay Rs 1,900 and after eight years of regular service pay band will be Rs 10,300 to Rs 34,800 plus Rs 3,200.

Application fee

A processing fee of Rs 300 will be charged from general, Gorkhas, Home Guard (General /Gorkhas) candidates. However, Women/ SC/ ST/OBC/ BPL/ EWS/ Home Guard (SC/ ST/ OBC) candidates will have to pay Rs 100 only. The payment can be made online or offline.
