South Eastern Railway is hiring 1,785 apprentices

South Eastern Railway (SER) has invited applications for recruitment to the post of apprentices in various trades. This recruitment drive was initiated to fill up a total number of 1,785 vacancies in the various divisions. According to notification, the duration of apprenticeship is 12 months. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website on or before December 14, 2021.

Eligibility criteria

Educational qualification: Candidates must have passed class 10 examination or its equivalent under 10+2 examination system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognised boards and also possess National Trade Certificate in the respective trade issued by National Council for Vocational Training or State Council for Vocational Training.

Age limit: Candidates should have completed 15 years of age but should not have completed 24 years as on January 1, 2021. Relaxation in upper age limit is applicable for reserved category candidates as per government guidelines.

Selection process

Selection of candidates will be done based on merit list.

Stipend

According to notification, selected candidates will be eligible for stipend as per prescribed rates.
