Western Coalfields hiring 316 apprentices

Western Coalfields Limited (WCL), a subsidiary company of Coal India Limited which is under the administrative control of the ministry of coal, has invited online applications for recruitment to the post of technicians and graduate apprentices. This recruitment drive will fill up a total number of 316 vacancies in the various departments. The duration of the apprenticeship training is one year. Eligible and interested candidates can apply for these posts through the official website of the WCL at westerncoal.in. The online application process starts from today i.e. September 6, 2021, at 10 am. The application window will remain open till September 21, 2021.

This direct recruitment drive is being conducted to fill 316 vacant posts of technicians and graduate apprentices in the Western Coalfields. Take a look at post-wise vacancy details:

Technician apprentice: 215 posts

Graduate apprentice: 101 posts

Qualification

Graduate apprentice: Candidates should have a full-time BE/ BTech/ AMIE degree in mining engineering from any institutions recognised by UGC/ AICTE or central or state governments.

In addition, candidates have to enroll themselves in the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) portal before applying for the post.

Technician apprentice: Candidates should have a full-time diploma in mining/ mining and mine surveying from any institutions recognised by UGC/ AICTE or central or state governments.

According to notification, those who have passed the qualifying examination before November 30, 2018, are not eligible to apply for these posts.

Stipend

Graduate apprentice: Rs 9,000 per month. No other allowances or benefits will be provided.

Technician apprentice: Rs 8,000 per month. No other allowances or benefits will be provided.
